Fall is the busiest time of year for photographers.. but I promised myself I would try to blog a session or two! I met this little girlie a couple of weeks ago and she was just the sweetest! We were having unseasonably warm weather in Buffalo and took advantage with a nice long walk!
Hi! Ok so if you haven’t heard… senior photography is a THING. Not so much in Buffalo and WNY as in other places (most of our high schools still require the stuffy studio photos with the dreaded black cloak.. UGH!) but nevertheless, I love when seniors come to me for their SENIOR CASUALS!! This is such a fun and exciting time for seniors as they are deciding what they want to do beyond high school. These sessions are so fun and the girls.. and guys too.. really like having the spotlight just on them for an hour or so.
This was a MEGA senior session, complete with 4 outfits and 2 locations. I LOVE the final result! And I’m sure Adriana and her family will enjoy these photos for years to come.
Two weeks ago, I met Natasha and Robert at Knox Farm in East Aurora. I have had many family sessions at Knox, but never a wedding. I was in total awe of this venue!! The main house was incredible and had so much character. I kept needing to remind myself I was there to work and not explore the long hallways and hidden doorways 😉 So yeah, if you are looking for a venue for your Western New York wedding.. start here!!
The celebration itself was intimate and so meaningful. Natasha and Robert are such a sweet couple and, on the outside at least, were quite calm and just READY to marry their best friend. They didn’t even complain when I was leading them far and wide, tossing them in fields and over ditches for portraits. Not to mention braving a very devious farm cat that wanted to play with Natasha’s gorgeous dress
Please take some time and enjoy these photos. I was so happy to capture this special day for them!
Just in case you were living under a rock for the last couple of months.. Buffalo went totally insane over sunflowers this season! And rightfully so!! Every sunflower field in the area became quite the hot tourist destination. This little girl’s grandmother spotted this field for us and I’m so grateful she did! It was the absolute perfect location for a sunset family session. Grandmas are the best! <3
And seriously.. isn’t she the cutest?!
We are having the BEST Buffalo fall weather so far! I hope it sticks around for the next couple of months 😉
I first met this family when little sister was in mama’s belly! I look forward to their session every year. As I mentioned on facebook.. I pretty much laugh the entire time but always come away with some great family memories!
